Our radiant Tiffany window gifted by Mrs. Mary O. Augusta in memory of her husband, Dr. Alexander Thomas Augusta—the first African American physician in the U.S. Army and a Civil War Major. The Tiffany window honors Dr. Augusta’s close friendship with Edwin Stanton, Secretary, Department of War.
The window was installed circa 1900.
